Funke holds a B.Sc. Hons in International Hospitality and Tourism Management from the renowned University of Surrey, United Kingdom. She has also worked at Delta Airlines (Sky Logistics – GSA) in Lagos, Nigeria, and the prestigious Ritz Carlton Hotel in Atlanta, USA.
In addition to her impressive academic background, Funke has obtained several professional certifications that attest to her commitment to excellence in her field. She is a Certified Scrum Master, a Certified International Social Etiquette Consultant, and a Certified Customer Service Trainer.
As a dynamic professional with a passion for philanthropy, Funke is the founder of Young Adult Professionals & Entrepreneurs (YAP&E). She also has a notable tenure as the Regional Director for Africa at Nexus Global and served as the Executive Director at The Chris Ogunbanjo Foundation.
